RW 2966 23/02/1968 p145 University of Bristol’s Dinner Week-End The secretary, Miss G. M. Brearley (“ a mere training college student ”), in proposing the toast to " The Visitors," spoke of the Association of the University Society with St. Matthias’ College, Fishponds. She also spoke of the thriving Association of the Northern Universities in ringing and expressed the hope that perhaps a Southern Universities Association might be formed in the not too distant future.
