Region: North Staffordshire Association Change Ringers
North Staffordshire Association Change Ringers (NSACR) members include many people from all walks of life all with one thing in common, we all enjoy bell ringing. Bell ringing is a hobby, a musical orchestra, a service to the church and village, a sport and a way of life for many people. It is very good exercise, exercising the back, arms, and brain. Above all it is a brilliant social activity giving you the change to meet lots of people.

- Tower: Minster Church of St Peter ad Vincula, Stoke Minster (10 bells, 17-1-3)
For students coming to Staffordshire, their nearest tower is Minster Church of St Peter ad Vincula (Stoke Minster): Sundays 10:00-10:30 & 18:00-18:30 (sometimes following a quarter). Practice nights are Tuesdays, 19:45-21:30 – belfry access always open. Everybody welcome.
Welcome to the Minster Church of St Peter ad Vincula. Some time in the 7th century the Saxon Hoard was buried in the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia, At about the same time Christian missionaries arrived at a ‘sacred site’ or ‘Stoke’ by the river Trent. A wooden cross would have been erected to claim the site for Christ. The first church was built and dedicated to St Peter’s chains (St Peter ad Vincula).
