Lincoln University Society of Bell Ringers

The Lincoln University Society of Bell Ringers (LUSBR) welcomes ringers of all abilities at University in Lincoln. We are a friendly society with regular weekly practices followed by a traditional post-practice trip to the pub! Whether you have been ringing for years or have never rung before, we would love to see you at one of our practices.

Practices are held on Tuesday evenings at St Mary-le-Wigford (19:30-21:00) and St Peter-at-Gowts (19:00-20:00) alternating between the two towers. (Please get in touch if you plan to come to attend and are not a member to find out where the practice will be)

Sunday service ringing takes place at St Peter-at-Gowts on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month between 09:30-10:00.

We organise many quarters, outings and social events throughout the year, with highlights such as the Annual Society Dinner, the Awards Ceremony and quiz nights.

If you are coming to Lincoln in the coming year, do not hesitate to get in touch!
